All you need is a garden hose connection. The Simple-Soft Mobile Water Softener has a 15,000 grain capacity and regenerates on just 1-pound of common table salt. So there is no need to carry around bulky salt. With the drain line being built into the unit there is no need to disconnect your unit to regenerate it. This Softener will soften up to 1000* (capacity based on 10 grain per gallon hardness) gallons of water before you will need to regenerate it.
